About Tersina

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Tersina quit her marketing career in 2002 to pursue her interest in wine. She graduated in the winemaking diploma course at Plumpton College in England and passed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 5 Honours Diploma. Since then, she has made wines in the UK, Portugal, South Africa, China, New Zealand and Australia, as well as visited wine regions on every continent.

A marketer turned winemaker, her mission is to promote wine culture in Hong Kong and China, explaining wine in a no-nonsense way and inspiring the average consumer to appreciate and enjoy it. She also contributes to Spirito di’Vino (Aisia), Cru Magazine (Hong Kong), OpenRice (Hong Kong), Foodie (Hong Kong), WINE (China), Global Gourmet (China) and writes her own blog. She has judged at Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition, Everyday Bordeaux, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Annual Wines of Chile Awards, Asia Wine TrophyVeritas and Golden Wine Bottle Award.

In addition to her winemaking qualifications, Tersina also holds a MBA and is a Chartered Marketer.
